Lynnderella All The Fixins

Today is going to be a first for me on two levels 1) it is my first non Essie blog post, 2) my first time wearing and blogging about Lynnderella polish.  I have been very into indie polishes lately and one brand that always seems to pop up is Lynnderella.  I have purchased a few but this is my first time wearing the brand.  I saw this beauty on a post on FB and I just knew I had to have it since it looked amazing in the bottle.

What is it you ask, we'll wait no more I'm talking about Lynnderella's All the Fixins.  I'll be honest when I first started to apply the polish I wasn't sure I was going to like it.  I had a teenie bit of trouble with the initial application, but by the second coat it went on smoothly and I really like it.   The glitters in this one really pop.  You have small micro glitters in red, gold and there's a slight pop of green.  Then there are larger glitters in gold and orange.  I have nothing like it in my collection and I am glad I decided to pick this little beauty up.

For my first foray into this brand I am pleasantly surprised and cannot wait to try out more of my little Lynnderella beauties.

Another Essie so little time.

On the blog tonight we have another Essie polish.  So as I'm attempting to get through my untrieds I spied this beauty Essie's Fall in Line.  In the bottle it is gorgeous but on your nails it is to die for.  This beautiful almost forest green creme polish just made me happy.  I had to use two coats for full opacity but it was well worth it.  This to me screams fall and is a must have for the season.

I know people sleep on Essie and I will admit I'm not always happy with the brand, but a lot of times I'll pick up a color just because and when I use it I am in awe of how beautiful it is.  If you love greens this should definitely be in your collection.

First blog....Reviewing Essie Truth or Flare.

Today on the blog I have tried one of the many untrieds sitting in my polish cabinet.  It was a quick replacement mani because I was unhappy with the color I had on from the night before.  So to start fresh I grabbed a bottle of Essie's Truth or Flare.  Now this is my first blog post so I'll let you in on a little secret: I love the color blue I gravitate towards anything blue.  Needless to say this untried called to me begging me to try it.

Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed I assumed this would be a amazing blue cream polish totally opaque in two coats.  What I did end up with was a first coat that was runny and you could barely see any of that gorgeous blue the bottle showed. It took a heap of polish on the brush the second time around in order to get the opacity I was after.  Needless to say the application left a lot to be desired but none the less the blue is still stunning.

But, I just couldn't leave well enough alone lately my other obsession is holo toppers and I thought this mani needed a little something so I grabbed my bottle of KB Shimmers Prism Break and omg what a difference it made.  Before I merely liked my nail color after adding the holo topper I am in love with my nails and can't stop staring.

Would I recommend Essie Truth or Flare, yes.  If you have the time and don't mind using two thick coats or three thin coats to get what you're after then I would say for those lovers of blue this is a must have.
