So, what do you do when you got your nails done at the nail salon (finally getting to try a fabulous new coffin nail shape) but you want to change your polish a few days later.  Well if you're anything like me you have so many polishes to choose from you have no idea what to do.

I sat there and thought about it and all I could tell myself was that I need a polish that's going to make people go WOW.  After about an hour it came to me the one polish I thought would do the trick was Berry Good Looking by Cupcake polish.

Now I've seen plenty of swatches and each time I would say damn that's a fine polish, but I didn't use it.  Big mistake!! When I finally grabbed the bottle, and sat down with it I knew this would be good, but ladies it was better than good it was almost freaking orgasmic.  Not to mention all the compliments I received from ladies who wanted to know what magic was this lol.

I love Cupcake Polish I think Sara Casey is a genius and if you don't own this beauty you need to nab it because you will not be sorry.

The picture below is two coats that went on so easily along with KB Shimmer QDTC.

So I thought I would do a little compassion since a few people told me this color was similar to the original Sally Hansen Pacific Blue.

A week or so ago I decided to used my Sally Hansen Miracle Gel I ended up getting the kit that included one polish which was called Tidal Wave.

When I posted pics a few people told me it looked very similar to Pacific Blue the original formula since I ordered that one as well I thought I would compare.

As you can see Tidal Wave is a bit darker richer blue than Pacific Blue but both are gorgeous none the less.

I think Tidal Wave might be an awesome substitute.

What are your thoughts?

Zoya Hunter and ILNP

Sitting home a few days ago I just couldn't resist changing polishes so now the only question was what to choose.  After looking through a huge amount of untrieds I opted to go through my Zoya stash.  Then I found a bottle of polish that made me stop and stare.  It was this gorgeous Hunter green.  Polish chosen I got to work.  I have a lot of Zoya polishes but I haven't even gotten to use most of them yet. The polish was pretty easy to work with, the formula was nice had to use two coats for full coverage but when I was done I was so pleased.

Of course I like all things shiny so I decided to add a little razzle dazzle which was my brand new bottle of ILNP My Private Rainbow a pretty holo topper that didn't gray out my Zoya polish. It allows my nails to sparkle and it looks like rainbows on your nails.  Who wouldn't love that.

Picture is of the polish in the sunlight too pretty to look at:

OPI and Glam Polish

Tonight on the blog I have two polishes that compliment each other very nicely.  Going through my stash of untried polishes I stumbled across a polish I bought some time ago from OPI.  This pretty little beauty is Miss You-Universe from their Miss Universe collection.  Not sure why I waited so long to try it but try it I did.  This is a gorgeous rich deep plum color.  I needed to use two coats because for me the application was a bit streaky and I needed the second coat to even it out a bit.

Now I could have left well enough alone but I figured a dark color like this deserved a little something extra so I decided to do two accent nails and for that I used Glam Polish Comet Storm which is a flakey polish that has an amazing shimmer to it. It's a clear base with purple and green shimmers and I think it compliments the OPI polish. I enjoy watching how the flakes change color on my nails.

Both of the polishes are must tries in my opinion.

Pic doesn't do the Glam flakies justice but it shows that subtle purple green shift.

The picture above is from this morning in the car I think it showed off the shift in color of the Glam Polish flakes a lot better.

Elevated by Elevation

Today the blog I have Elevation Polish Jungfrau.  I got this polish through an auction on FB along with two other EVP polishes.  Had to try this one first because blue is my favorite color.  Let me tell you all that this polish did not disappoint me.

I was a little worried at first because the polish was a little thick and wasn't applying the way I would have liked and I was getting disappointed especially seeing as it was the first time trying this brand, not to mention all the good things I kept hearing about it.

Thank goodness by the second coat I had full coverage.  Ladies this is a must have a dreamy denim blue with green shimmer and dark grey flecks.  After putting this on I stared at my nails every chance I got.

I am totally on the Elevation Polish Bandwagon.  I can't wait to try the other colors in my collection.

Here are some photos that I wish had captured this amazing color a little better, but I do my best with what I've got (looking into getting a macro lens.)

Lynnderella All The Fixins

Today is going to be a first for me on two levels 1) it is my first non Essie blog post, 2) my first time wearing and blogging about Lynnderella polish.  I have been very into indie polishes lately and one brand that always seems to pop up is Lynnderella.  I have purchased a few but this is my first time wearing the brand.  I saw this beauty on a post on FB and I just knew I had to have it since it looked amazing in the bottle.

What is it you ask, we'll wait no more I'm talking about Lynnderella's All the Fixins.  I'll be honest when I first started to apply the polish I wasn't sure I was going to like it.  I had a teenie bit of trouble with the initial application, but by the second coat it went on smoothly and I really like it.   The glitters in this one really pop.  You have small micro glitters in red, gold and there's a slight pop of green.  Then there are larger glitters in gold and orange.  I have nothing like it in my collection and I am glad I decided to pick this little beauty up.

For my first foray into this brand I am pleasantly surprised and cannot wait to try out more of my little Lynnderella beauties.
